This project really shows what a comprehensive blended learning program can do for an organization; we were thrilled to be part of building such an engaging and successful program.
This program saw great change from the initial stages to where it is now. Despite these changes, like planning for ILT and transitioning to VILT to switching from Oculus to cardboard headsets, this project remained dynamic and accomplished the ultimate goal.
The next step in our tech evolution process was to take the tablet out of the classroom and into the field for increased hands on training and giving our teams a more realistic job preview process. The solution was our partnership with Roundtable Learning.
Notwithstanding the incredible technology, the relationship that was built prior to drafting out our final product launch is why our training programs continue to improve.

The quality of the VR content is extraordinary. For us, we learned the best way to promote and educate our leaders about VR is just to have them take the experience. Several times, a leader would put on the headset and just say, “Wow”.
Roundtable helped us learn how to effectively build and leverage VR training. We were new to VR learning and all of our research and studies still did not prepare us to fully understand how to best use VR for learning as well as all of the technology, adoption, and management needed to support it. Through our VR experiences, we’ve captured our employees taking the wrong actions and quickly learn through the consequences in the scenarios. This is much more preferred than having to learn through mistakes on the job that could have lifelong consequences.
VR isn’t the answer for every training need, but for those topics that are a good fit for the technology, it can’t be beat. As headsets have become more powerful, and comfortable, and as AI begins to impact VRs capabilities, the case just becomes more solid to adopt VR as soon as possible to avoid lagging behind.

Lincoln Electric was looking to present a welding product to the primary/secondary education market to excite young learners. We have training tools, but not an exposure tool. The Voyage Arc caters to that market but also can be used as a recruitment tool for all types of organizations.
The Voyage Arc was built with both students & teachers in mind. Students are able to learn & have fun. They can experience welding in a safe environment and practice as much as they need. Teachers can introduce welding without stepping into a weld booth and certification is not required. The curriculum lessons are built in and the price is within their budget range.
